Newborn photography Sevenoaks with 6 week old baby

Newborn photography based in Westerham, Sevenoaks, Kent. If you feel you missed the window on having those first newborn photos of your precious little one then don’t worry. For whatever reason you may have missed out you can still have those newborn pictures with an older baby. I recently had gorgeous Noah at 6 weeks old in the studio for his shoot. Newborn photographs ideally need to be within the few first weeks. As baby is most sleepy and curly but with an experienced newborn photographer you can still achieve these photos with a baby up to 8 weeks old. If your baby is older than that then you can still do a baby shoot, from around 3 months old. From 6 months it is a sitter photoshoot, up to around a year.

Noah was 6 weeks old when he came for his newborn shoot at the studio. We got some beautiful shots of him and his beautiful mummy. Shoots with older babies are harder as they don’t like to be naked and are more sensitive to touch. So you need to be extra patient and rock them the whole time. The shoots may last longer than newborns and are completely baby led. All babies are different and I always work individually with them.

It is never too late to get photographs of your little one no matter what age they are. Newborn up to 8 weeks old, after that baby and sitter shoots, every stage is so precious and they change so quickly that it’s important to capture these memories.
